She is the General of the Heavenly Armies, she is the Mother weeping for her prodigal children, and she is the gentle hand that will take away your pain.

She has many names - ancient Gnostic philosophers would call her Sophia, Christian mystics named her the Holy Ghost, angel worshippers speak of Metatron, the voice of God, when they refer to her, and white witches whisper her name in their prayers as "Goddess". But she calls herself Gwendolyn, White Moon. She is older than the times, younger than morning dew. From the grim mother goddess of the Stone Age, through the Suffering Virgin of the Middle Ages and up into the science-fiction visions of the alien Hive Queen, she has been here, and she will forever be.

Her body is covered by an armor of living ivory and silver, fueled by the alchemic energy of prayers, but her heart is burning with the primeval flame of the True Reality.
